MEET THE FOUNDER

In my early college years, I worked part-time at Sephora and became infatuated with how creatively each brand distinguished themselves. That’s when I decided to study marketing. I too wanted to build a brand that excites people. Before graduating, I interned with a lifestyle blogger, a travel agency, and a SEO agency, gaining experience in social media strategy, copywriting, and content creation.

 

Upon graduating, I took an opportunity to work in recruiting. It was a great experience, but after a while, I realized I couldn’t let go of my true passions. I had never planned on taking the entrepreneurial route. Yet, in November of 2020, that's just what I did.

 

I wanted to get back into digital marketing, but finding work mid-pandemic was difficult. So I created my own position and built a small business crafting and marketing teacup candles. Like many others, I found myself needing to burn more time during pandemic lockdowns and get out some creative energy. I also utilized the business to refresh my marketing skills and build new ones. 

 

Building the candle brand fueled a fire that no amount of coffee could, as does creating for others. I left my position as a recruiter in February 2021 to fully focus on digital marketing and freelance projects. After over a year of freelancing and working  with another marketing agency, I transitioned my business into Rose & Salt Social to better serve clients and  continue growing.
